Evan Dygert left IRL CART (Indy) Racing in 1997 to join German Car Garage as the Shop Foreman. Evan brings a vast knowledge of high performance modifications to our mechanical pool. Performance modifications range from tuned suspension upgrades such as springs, shocks, and swaybars, to engine computer chip upgrades.

1996 Indy 500 Della Penna team pitstop

Evan started SCCA Club racing in 1985, driving a BMW 2002 at Riverside Raceway. After many years with IMSA and SCCA he finished his racing career as the gearbox specialist on the Della Penna Indy Car team. In 1997 he returned to Southern California to run the service department at the German Car Garage.

Evan is also involved in BMW CCA's high performance driving schools as an instructor.
